Angry Faic

This, my "parody" on the original Angry Face, used on Newgrounds, is by far the best of the series to me. As you can in its own folder, the Faic Series are meant to be on a calendar, but, yeah, never got there due to lazyness and problems the size.

I really like it, since its so simple and, to me, perfect. :)

And then you start wondering...

...about whether you are a good artist or not. I do am happy with the Faic series I've created, but still, they're so easy to draw, and the time I'm putting into it, is less than a day. At those points you're wondering how special your art really is.

I know it's pretty fun to look at, and it's plain and simple yet still acceptable, but you're always doubting yourself. Everyone is.

Anyway, the series are favored by many, and I still keep liking the outcome of the new faics, and someday I'll create something large, which will take longer than 1 or 2 days.

Around the question whether it's too simple or not, I also figured I don't learn anything of this. I mean, I just draw human expressions, and simple vector shapes. But then again, I now feel like I'm exaggerating.

I'll just keep drawing - I'll get better eventually, I guess.

My name is Daan Brinkhuis, but you guys probably only know me as RH1N4N. Why? Well, my nickname on the internet is Rhinan, but that name was already taken here on this site. I live in Holland, in The Hague, in the province Zuid-Holland.

I like drawing, scripting & designing, and gaming. What I don't like, is helplessness, aware liars, people not getting the respect they should get, and people who only do nice and caring when they're with you, but only then.

I listen to a lot of music. From Fort Minor to Bring Me The Horizon, from Pendulum to 36 Crazyfists, and from Coldplay to The Offspring. Actually anything with a hard and/or fast melody, clean and/or brutal vocals, and unusual rhythms.

I use flash since my 12th and since then, growing with skill. When at home, I mostly empty my inspirations on the Flash scene. I used to create games, which is also my educational direction, hopefully. I only draw art for less than two years, and I only yet create logo's and other drafts, but I really like doing it. I hope I can do more of this in the future, as a side job or hobby. Or I might make this my primary job, you never know!
